Emily is a managing associate in our Investment Funds practice, specialising in fund formation. Emily has deep expertise in private credit. She has worked with several sponsors in the launch of their debt platforms and has advised on a wide range of private credit mandates, including European and U.S. direct lending, infrastructure debt and asset-backed finance strategies, across closed-ended, evergreen and hybrid structures.
Beyond private credit, Emily works with clients across a range of private funds and complex co-investments. She has acted for sponsors in mid-market private equity, real assets and venture capital – giving her the breadth to advise on a wide range of fund formation mandates.
Emily also acts for some of our largest investor clients on cornerstone and strategic investments into European private equity and private credit funds, as well as bespoke managed account arrangements.
Emily spent six months in our Dubai office and completed a client secondment to Macquarie Asset Management, embedded in their private credit legal fund formation team.
Emily is recognised by Chambers and Legal 500 in the categories of Private Equity and Private Funds. She was also named a Rising Star by both Infrastructure Investor and Private Debt Investor in 2024.
