Evgeny Tikhomirov

Evgeny joined Linklaters Luxembourg in the Capital Markets & Banking practice in July 2023. Prior to joining Linklaters Luxembourg, Evgeny worked as a Managing Associate in the Energy and Infrastructure practice of Linklaters Moscow and was seconded to the Linklaters offices in Hong Kong and Dubai.

Evgeny has considerable experience advising banks, financial institutions, private equity houses and corporate clients on project financing, syndicated lending, investment grade, margin loan, leveraged acquisition finance, asset finance, real estate finance and distressed debt acquisitions.

Work highlights

• KKR: advising on various banking and corporate aspects of senior and PIK facility agreements.
• Lenders: advising lenders on margin loans and leveraged financings for real estate projects in Hong Kong
• Slovenske Elektrarne: advising the senior lender on the amendment and restatement of its existing €870m financing to Slovenske Elektrarne, a Slovak electricity generation company.
• Yamal LNG: advising ECAs and commercial banks (BPIfrance, SACE, EKN, Euler-Hermes, JBIC, CDB, China Exim) on the US$19bn (equivalent) facilities to be provided to fund the construction of the Yamal LNG Project.
• Wind farms: advising the senior lenders on the first syndicated project financing of 100 mW wind farms in Rostov region in Russia implemented by Fortum and RUSNANO fund.

Evgeny studied law at Moscow State University (Moscow).
