Hannah Pilkington

Overview

Hannah advises on a broad range of structured finance and derivatives transactions in relation to a variety of product types, including repackaging programmes, commodities-related transactions, OTC and cleared derivatives, and regulatory margin.

Hannah has a particular focus on sustainable finance, specialising in carbon-linked products. She has extensive experience advising clients, including financial institutions, corporates, and industry associations, on their emissions trading documentation and a variety of bespoke structured finance carbon products (in each case, relating to both mandatory and voluntary market carbon credits). Hannah continues to advise the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) on the Verified Carbon Credit Transactions Definitions.

During her time at Linklaters, Hannah has spent time abroad in the Linklaters Singapore office and on secondment to Citigroup Global Markets Limited.

Education, Qualifications and Languages

Hannah studied History at Durham University.
