Overview

Jessica is a managing associate in the private equity and financial sponsors group based in London. Jessica has experience advising financial institutions and private equity houses along with corporate clients in the telecommunications, healthcare, technology, energy and resources and financial services sectors. Jessica has experience in private M&A and private equity, along with corporate governance, corporate restructuring and general corporate and commercial matters, including foreign investment advice, shareholder and equity arrangements and ongoing portfolio management.

Work highlights
  • Jacobs Capital: advising on its purchase of the Highvern group from the founders and the subsequent combination of the Highvern group with the Permian group.
  •  iCON Infrastructure: advising on the purchase of the Alliance Medical group from Life Healthcare for £910m and the subsequent reorganisation of the Alliance Medical group.
  • Blackstone: advising on its disposal of the European arm of the Lombard group to the Utmost group for a confidential sum.
  • Digital Bridge: advising on the USD 1.5bn investment by GIC and MEAG into the Vantage data centres platform.
  • GIC: advising on its purchase of the Sani Ikos hotels chain from a group of individual founders and institutional sellers for EUR 2.3bn.
  • Ara Partners: advising on its minority investment in a European infrastructure joint venture.

Professional experience

Prior to joining Linklaters, Jessica worked as an associate in the corporate team at Norton Rose Fulbright in Sydney, Australia, after completing the graduate program at PwC Legal.

Jessica has also undertaken various volunteering opportunities including at the Schools Consent Project in the United Kingdom and the Financial Abuse Clinic, Human Rights for All, the Aboriginal Legal Service and Refugee Advice & Casework Service in New South Wales, Australia. She has also provided advice to a number of Australian charities and to the Arts Law Centre of Australia on a pro bono basis.

Education and qualifications

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) (Honours) (majoring in literature) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.
