Jessica has regularly appeared as the keynote and on panels on competition litigation.
She has also previously been a school governor as well as a trustee for a small charity supporting Syrian refugee women.
Jessica is a senior counsel in our litigation, arbitration and investigations team, specialising in competition litigation, consumer law, and public law.
She brings exceptional experience from her former role as Deputy General Counsel and Senior Litigation Director at the CMA, where she led some of the UK’s most high-profile and strategic competition and consumer law cases for eight years on the scope of consumer law, excessive pricing, the limits of the powers in market investigations and interventions by the CMA into class actions. She also has more experience in the Competition Appeal Tribunal than almost everyone having acted in cases there more than forty times. Her unique knowledge of competition and consumer regulation gives her an insightful perspective on Claimant strategy.
Jessica also spent almost a decade litigating public cases for dozens of government department with a focus on national security and justice. She now combines her knowledge of regulators with her public law experience to support regulated companies to ensure fair and lawful regulation of their industry.
Jessica was a member of the CAT User Group from 2021-2025 and was named as one of the Lawyer’s “Hot 100” in 2026 shortly after joining the firm. She appears regularly as a commentator on competition and consumer law issues.
