Joris joined Linklaters in 2020 in the Dutch capital markets team, before moving to the corporate M&A practice in 2022. He is a Dutch-qualified corporate/M&A lawyer based in Amsterdam, advising Dutch and international clients on public and private M&A, cross-border corporate transactions and restructurings. He supports clients on strategic deals and provides ongoing corporate governance and regulatory advice, complemented by his background in equity capital markets work.
In 2023, Joris was seconded to our Milan office.
Education, Qualifications and Languages
Joris holds a Bachelor of Laws from VU Amsterdam, and obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M) in corporate law from the same university.
He is fluent in Dutch and English and is admitted to the Netherlands Bar (Nederlandse orde van advocaten) in Amsterdam.
