Kevin has more than 30 years of experience representing companies and investment banks in initial public offerings and rights issues, Rule 144A/Regulation S offerings and US private placements for high-yield debt, convertible bonds and equity, and private equity merger and acquisition transactions in the US, Europe and Asia.
Prior to joining Linklaters, Kevin was a partner at a leading international law firm. He was based in Hong Kong for 13 years.
Kevin Roy studied political science at Swarthmore College and earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.
He has been practising as a lawyer at firms in New York, London and Hong Kong since 1995.
He has been working as Senior U.S. Counsel at Linklaters since 2016.
He is admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in New York and as a Solicitor in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Linklaters, Kevin was a partner at an international law firm.
He speaks German and English.
