Kyara Mathias

Overview

Kyara is a counsel in the finance group in Linklaters' New York office. Kyara has extensive experience advising on derivatives transactions. Kyara represents both buy and sell-side institutions on the structuring, negotiation and documentation of derivatives transactions. She has expertise across a broad range of derivatives transactions, with a particular focus on interest rate swaps, currency swaps, equity swaps, deal-contingent swaps, longevity swaps and total return swaps. Kyara has over the last few years been representing ISDA and several buy and sell-side institutions on the implementation of regulatory compliant margin documentation for uncleared derivatives. Kyara also often presents at ISDA conferences, including on topics such as the ISDA Master Agreement and on regulatory initial margin implementation.
