Lucy is a company law specialist with particular expertise advising listed and private companies and banks on returns of cash to shareholders and complex restructurings. She is also a trusted advisor to many listed companies, advising on all aspects of company law, UK Listing Rules and the Market Abuse Regulation.
Lucy is Chair of the Company Law Committee of the Law Society of England and Wales, a member of the Confederation of British Industry’s Capital Markets Working Group and a member of the Accounting, Reporting and Governance Committee of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association. She represents the firm in discussions with industry bodies, regulators and the government on the development of new legislation and guidance that will affect our clients.
Lucy trained and spent six years at a silver circle firm as a corporate and private equity transactional lawyer before joining Linklaters in 2008. In 2006 she spent six months on secondment with the legal team at the Virgin Group.
