Work Highlights
- BlackRock: advising on its agreement with ENVIRIA, a leading commercial and industrial decentralised energy solutions provider, for an equity investment of over USD 200m from its Global Renewable Power IV (GRP IV) Fund.
- TPG Rise Climate Fund and GIC: advising on the EUR 6.7bn acquisition of the energy and metering technology company Techem from Partners Group, CDPQ and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
- Glennmont Partners: advising on the acquisition of 50% in offshore wind farm Gode Wind 3 from Ørsted (planned capacity: 253 MW).
- KfW: advising on the acquisition of a 50% stake in the LNG terminal project in Brunsbüttel from Gasunie.
- Automotive Cells Company (ACC), a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis and TotalEnergies: advising on the EUR 4.4bn non-recourse financing of its EV battery gigafactories
- International bank and a pension fund: advising on the investment in a German renewable energy development company
- Uniper SE: Advising on the sale of its district heating business to Steag Igony Group
- Uniper SE: Advising on the sale of its coal-fired power plant Datteln 4 (1,052 MW capacity) to ResInvest Group
Beyond the Office
Maximilian joined Linklaters as an Associate in 2023. He previously worked as an Associate at a US law firm in Berlin and trained at the European Commission in Brussels.
