Overview

Penelope Jensen is a partner in Linklaters’ U.S. Restructuring & Insolvency practice. She advises administrative agents, steering committees, individual lenders and other credit providers facing bankruptcy and insolvency-related issues on complex credits of all sizes, with particular expertise in chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.

Work highlights
  • Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank as revolving/LC agent and collateral agent under the prepetition, DIP, and exit credit facilities in the chapter 11 cases of McDermott International, Inc.
  • A group of financial institutions as secured lenders in the multi-jurisdictional wind-down of Global Brands Group, implemented through chapter 11 cases, a UK administration, and other insolvency proceedings in Europe and Asia.
  • Citibank, N.A. as administrative agent and collateral agent to the RBL lenders on a $285m credit facility in the chapter 11 cases of Lonestar Resources Inc.
  • Citibank, N.A. as administrative agent to the lenders on a $260m RBL facility in the chapter 11 cases of Chisholm Oil and Gas Operating, LLC. 
  • Sercel Holding SAS as the successful bidder of the software business in the chapter 11 cases of Ion Geophysical Corporation, a global technology company.

Professional Experience

Education and qualifications

Penelope studied accounting and finance at Hofstra University and holds a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.
