Peter is a Partner in the London Leveraged Finance team. He focuses on cross-border leveraged finance transactions.

Peter represents banks, private credit lenders, hedge funds, private equity sponsors, and corporate borrowers across the capital structure.

Peter has been recognised by Chambers for several years for his expert handling of cross-border financings and is listed as a ‘Leading Partner’ in Legal 500’s rankings.

Work Highlights

Peter has led on many syndicated bank lending transactions and private credit deals during his career, including:

• advising the lenders on multiple transactions for CVC portfolio companies, including financings for Sebia.
• advising on multiple transactions for Carlye Credit as lender to various private equity backed businesses, including Big Bus Tours and Suntera Global.
• advising the lenders on multiple transactions for Hg portfolio companies, including the financing for its investment in Focus Group.
• advising lenders on financings extended to various INEOS group companies.
• advising Investcorp on multiple competitive bids and financings for its acquisitions and refinancings in Europe, including Zacco.
• advising other private equity sponsors on the financings for their acquisitions, including Oakley Capital’s acquisition of Liberty Dental Group, STG Partner’s public to private acquisition of Gresham, and Abry Partner’s acquisition of Chambers.
