Overview
Becky is a highly regarded litigation and investigations partner and has advised on a wide range of multi-jurisdictional matters during her career.
Becky’s investigations practice is broad and she has extensive experience in crisis management investigations and she frequently advises on internal, regulatory and public investigations.
She has advised on several investigations conducted by the FRC, FCA, SFO, ICAEW, Insolvency Service as well as UK parliamentary select committee and public inquiries.
She has experience across a number of sectors including financial services, professional services, healthcare, commodities, oil and gas, mining, telecommunications, sport and retail and has advised on a wide range of disputes including shareholder disputes, product liability issues and professional negligence matters.
Becky has also worked in-house on secondment in the Litigation and Investigations Team of an Investment Bank.

- An international commodity trading and mining company: advising on an internal investigation into allegations of employee misconduct and fraud in relation to contracts with a supplier.
- A water company: advising on a large-scale criminal investigations and proceedings brought by the Environment Agency.
- Big Four Accountancy Firms: advising on a number of ICAEW and FRC investigations in relation to a range of insolvency, accountancy and audit disputes.
- A major UK-based pharmaceutical company: conducting an internal investigation and advising a major UK-based pharmaceutical company in relation to product liability issues.
- A major investment bank: acting on the multi-jurisdictional investigation and enforcement action taken by the SFO and FCA in relation to allegations of FX manipulation.
- Core Participants and interested parties: advising on the Grenfell Tower and Covid Inquiries.
- Retail multinational: advising on various inquiries including the joint Parliamentary select committee inquiries into the collapse of BHS and the settlement of the BHS pensions dispute with the Pensions Regulator.
- Energy Company: advising on an internal investigation into issues at one of its oil fields.
- Energy Company: advising on an investigation into allegations of insider trading by a senior executive.

- A Big Four Accountancy Firm: advising on regulatory investigations by the ICAEW and FRC as well as parallel regulatory investigations by the Pensions Regulator and threatened professional negligence litigation in relation to insolvency and restructuring advice.
- A Big Four Accountancy Firm: advising on a professional negligence claim in relation to audit work and an alleged failure to identify fraud.
- A Big Four Accountancy Firm: advising on the largest FRC audit investigation to date with six audit years under investigation.
- An International Big Four Firm: advising various members of the group on an ongoing basis in relation to a variety of brand-threatening matters, including several negligence regulatory investigations and claims.
- A client: acting on the multi-jurisdictional investigation and enforcement action taken by the SFO and FCA in relation to allegations of FX manipulation at a major investment bank.
