Overview

Sílvia Pinheiro Esteves is a Managing Associate in the Corporate department of the Lisbon office.

Sílvia advises domestic and international clients on the full spectrum of corporate, M&A, and real estate transactions, with substantial experience structuring complex deals involving both share and asset acquisitions, joint ventures, and reorganisations. She is particularly experienced in transactions where the underlying asset is real estate, including the acquisition and sale of commercial property, real estate M&A, and all associated due diligence. Sílvia frequently advises on the negotiation and drafting of construction contracts, commercial leases, and other real estate arrangements, as well as on corporate governance matters and general commercial agreements. She regularly works alongside multidisciplinary teams to support clients on every stage of transactions, ensuring effective management of legal risk and commercial objectives.

Experience

Sílvia began her legal career in 2012 with summer traineeships at the Capital Markets and Debt department of Linklaters' London office and the Dispute Resolution department in Lisbon. She continued to develop her career at the Lisbon office, starting as a Junior Associate in 2013, becoming Associate in 2016, and was promoted to Managing Associate in 2023. Sílvia also teaches Corporate Law in the post-graduate programme at the Lisbon School of Law of the Catholic University.
