2015-2018 Research assistant and trainee lawyer (Referendar) at Linklaters in Berlin and London.Stefan advises global banks, financial institutions, CCPs and corporates on international capital markets law in relation to (structured) capital markets products and structured finance with a focus on cleared and non-cleared derivatives (FX, IRS, credit and equity derivatives) as well as repo and securities lending transactions. He also advises on issues related to the CRR, in particular with regards to credit risk mitigation under the CRR. A particular focus of his advisory services is on synthetic securitisations.
Furthermore, Stefan’s work focuses on the infrastructure of securities settlement, including digital securities, crypto securities and DLT-based issuance and settlement.
Stefan also has experience in portfolio sales in the context of NPL transactions and financing transactions more generally.
