Overview
Tanya is the AI & Innovation Lead Lawyer for Linklaters' Global Banking practice, combining senior legal expertise with a focus on technological innovation. She works alongside the Banking partners to shape the practice’s AI strategy and, as a member of Linklaters’ GenAI Executive Team, drives firmwide AI initiatives that have resulted in several legal industry firsts.
She developed Linklaters' proprietary GenAI prompting framework, the first of its kind at a major international law firm, now widely adopted by global clients and integrated into the firm's standard service offering. Tanya has also led the creation of three in-house generative AI tools for the practice, with one project shortlisted for the FT Innovative Lawyers Award 2025.
An alumna of the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme at Saïd Business School, she completed the course with distinction, achieving 95.3%. A recognised thought leader in legal technology, she has spoken at industry events including Google and LegalTech conferences. She also contributes actively to the GenAI community through hackathons, judging panels, and thought leadership, including an article on prompt engineering for lawyers in Briefing Magazine.
Her legal practice is grounded in complex structured financings and syndicated lending for major corporates and international banks. She has gained global experience through a secondment to Linklaters' Tokyo office (2019) and an in-house secondment at NatWest (2020-2021), providing her with a deep understanding of client needs from the inside.
