Overview

Valentine is an associate in the Belgian Corporate and Finance practice. Prior to joining Linklaters in 2024, she worked as an associate at another international law firm for three years.

She advises clients on all aspects of corporate law, with a focus on M&A and private equity.

Experience

Valentine has advised on a wide range of corporate matters. These include advising:

AG/Interparking: advising AG Real Estate, AG Insurance and Interparking in the integration of Saba Infraestructuras into Interparking;
Proximus: advising Proximus Group in the creation of Proximus Global;
Elia Group: advising on its €2.2billion equity raise in 2025 (the second largest capital increase ever carried out on Euronext Brussels and the largest since 2009), structured as a rights issue and a PIPE;
HG Capital: advising in the acquisition of the Parte Group, a leading syndic network in Belgium;
A Belgian bank in the sale of a portfolio of non-performing loans;
A Belgian listed company on the reorganisation of the indirect participation of its executives in its shareholding.

Education, Qualifications and Languages

Valentine holds a Bachelor and a Master in Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. During her Master, she spent a semester at Université de Montréal as an exchange student. She also completed an LL.M at the London School of Economics and Political Science, specialising in corporate and commercial law.
