Overview

Wassim is active in all tax aspects. He is especially involved in M&A transactions, for listed and non-listed companies, including LBOs, project finance and capital markets. Wassim also advises on the setting up of private equity and debt investment funds.

Waterland Private Equity: Advising Alliance Electronics in the context of the acquisition of TX Cube and EMS Factory
A consortium led by Eurazeo, alongside BPI and investors from the Crédit Agricole group represented by IDIA Capital Investissement and Amundi: advising on TSE's €130m fundraising, an expert in photovoltaic and agrivoltaic development
Automotive Cells Company: advising on the proposed financing of its gigafactories to be constructed in France, Germany and Italy, including the alignment and bankability of the construction, raw material supply and offtake contracts, financing structures and options and the pathfinder work with ECAs and commercial banks
OVHcloud’s: Advising the syndicate of arrangers and initial purchasers in connection with OVHcloud’s landmark €1.15 billion financing package to support its public share buyback and the refinancing of existing debt. The financing package includes a debut high yield bond offering, which was upsized in market following significant investor demand, as well as new term loans and a multipurpose revolving facility

Education and Qualifications

Wassim holds a master’s degree in International Tax Law from University Paris II Panthéon-Assas and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from The George Washington University.

He is admitted at the Paris Bar since 2022.

Wassim speaks Arabic, English and French.
