Overview

Wolfgang specialises in advising issuers and syndicate banks in connection with national and international bond issues (senior debt, hybrid bonds, regulatory capital for financial institutions, ESG bonds, commercial paper), liability management exercises, stock exchange listings and post-listing obligations. He also advises in connection with the issuance of German law registered bonds (Namensschuldverschreibungen) and assignable loans (Schuldscheindarlehen).

Beyond the Office

Wolfgang has been working at Linklaters since 2024. He was named Counsel in 2025.

He is a member of the Frankfurt and the New York Bar Associations.

He has been rated as one of the “Rising Stars” in IFLR1000 (IFLR1000 2024, Capital Markets: Debt).

Education and Qualifications

Wolfgang studied German law in Mainz and is admitted as a German lawyer. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Duke University and is admitted as attorney-at-law in New York.

He speaks German and English.
