Alexander is a US-qualified associate with experience advising issuers and underwriters on a broad range of international debt- and equity-based capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and private placements, across global capital markets.
Experience
- Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems AG & Co. KGaA and thyssenkrupp AG: advised issuer’s side on the spin-off listing of Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems AG & Co. KGaA on the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
- ASTA Energy Solutions AG: advised an underwriting syndicate on the €190 million IPO and listing of ASTA Energy Solutions AG on the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
- Theon International plc: advised an underwriting syndicate on the €150 million rights issue by Theon International plc on the Euronext Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
- Bioversys AG: advised issuer’s side on the CHF80 million IPO of BioVersys AG on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
- Novartis Capital Corporation with Novartis AG (as guarantor): advised an underwriting syndicate on two of Novartis Capital Corporation’s multi-tranche SEC-registered issuances totalling US$17.0 billion.
- EMD Finance LLC and Merck KGaA (as guarantor): advised an underwriting syndicate on EMD Finance LLC’s US$4.0 billion multi-tranche 144A issuance.
- Daimler Truck Finance North America LLC with Daimler Truck Holding AG and Daimler Truck AG (as guarantors): advised issuer’s side on three of the Group’s multi-tranche 144A issuances totalling US$5.8 billion.
- Volkswagen Group of America Finance, LLC with Volkswagen AG (as guarantor): advised an underwriting syndicate on Volkswagen Group of America Finance, LLC’s US$2.0 billion multi-tranche 144A issuance.
Beyond the Office
Alexander first joined Linklaters as a Summer Associate in the firm’s Frankfurt office in 2023. He has been based in Frankfurt since 2024.
He is a member of the New York Bar and Rechtsanwaltskammer Frankfurt am Main.
