Education, Qualifications and Languages

César holds a JD from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as a managing editor of the Columbia Journal of European Law.

He also holds a Master 2 (M2) in International Trade and Arbitration from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a dual Bachelor’s degree (LL.B./B.Sc.) in Law and Economics, in which he ranked second in his class.

César is admitted to the New York Bar and is dual trained in US and French law. He speaks English and French and is conversational in Spanish.

Earlier in his career, he served in the French government, including as an intern in the diplomatic unit (Cellule Diplomatique) of the Présidence de la République in 2018 and in the Office of the Law of Obligations of the French Ministry of Justice in 2016.
