Fionnghuala (Finn) advises on UK and cross-border public and private M&A transactions, joint ventures and consortia deals, and listed company matters. Finn co-leads the global Banks sector for Linklaters and has particular expertise within the financial institutions sector, including bank, insurance and asset management M&A deals, loan portfolio sales/acquisitions, Part VII FSMA transfer schemes and the UK ring-fencing regime.
As a Global Co-head of the Financial Infrastructure & Payments sector within Linklaters, Finn also has specialist knowledge of the fintech and broader tech sector, with extensive experience of later stage fundraisings, minority investments and strategic partnerships, and complex multi-party consortium transactions.
Finn was ranked one of the ‘2025 Top FinTech Lawyers in EMEA’ by MergerLinks, named in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 in 2020, and is also listed as a Leading Partner in the Legal 500 UK as part of both Linklaters’ Tier 1 M&A practice and UK Fintech practice.
