Gavin is a lawyer with over 30 years’ experience specialising in complex investigations work and litigation. He heads the firm’s London Investigations Group.
His clients include well known corporates, professional services firms, financial institutions, and funds.
In his litigation practice he advises clients in managing cross-border litigation across the UK, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the US. He represents clients defending group claims and has extensive experience of shareholder litigation.
His investigation experience includes financial crime, market manipulation and insider dealing investigations, both within the UK and internationally.
Gavin also has experience of acting for individuals, including in relation to a range of regulatory, disciplinary, and criminal investigations.
In 2019 he spent six months on secondment in the Enforcement Division at the Financial Conduct Authority. Gavin has in-house experience as a Managing Director responsible for litigation and regulatory inquiries across Asia Pacific at UBS from 2006 to 2008.
He qualified in the UK in 1994.
