Overview

George has over 25 years’ experience in the capital markets, particularly focussing on securitisations.

As a counsel based in London, George deals with legal and regulatory queries from across the firm’s international finance practice, drafts precedent documentation and legal opinions, provides tailored training to lawyers and clients, monitors and summarises legal and regulatory developments, drafts practical memoranda on legal and regulatory topics and participates in external consultations and conferences.

In 2001, George spent nine months on secondment with a major UK and international bank, where he focussed on securitisation and in 2007 he spent a year as Head of Securitisation Legal at the London office of an international investment bank.

Education, Qualifications and Langauges

George studied philosophy, politics and economics at Balliol College, University of Oxford.
