James is a Managing Associate in Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations, specialising in investigations, commercial litigation and GenAI.
He has a wealth of experience advising FTSE 250 companies on high-stakes bribery and corruption investigations involving the SFO, DOJ, and other global regulators, including a year on secondment to the SFO.
James is also a commercial litigator with experience in first instance, Competition Appeal Tribunal, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court proceedings.
James combines his legal practice with technological insight and deep GenAI expertise, having developed a firm-wide GenAI billing tool now being adopted across all Linklaters offices. He advises clients on both legal and practical aspects of GenAI integration and regularly speaks and writes on the impact of GenAI on the legal profession.
