Joris joined Linklaters in August 2020 as a legal intern and soon after started as an associate in the Dutch corporate M&A practice, later broadening his experience with a spell in our equity capital markets team. This combined background enables him to advise Dutch and international clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers and day to day corporate advisory work across a variety of sectors.
In 2023, Joris was seconded to our Milan office.
Education, Qualifications and Languages
Joris holds a Bachelor of Laws from VU Amsterdam, and obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M) in corporate law from the same university.
He is fluent in Dutch and English and is admitted to the Netherlands Bar (Nederlandse orde van advocaten) in Amsterdam.
