Overview
Laetitia advises her clients on their intellectual property rights enforcement strategies and notably manages cross-border patent and trademark litigation. She assists clients in various proceedings, including preliminary injunctions, seizures (saisie-contrefaçon), revocation and infringement actions, often in a global context with parallel proceedings in the US and before the EPO, representing clients before French courts and the Unified Patent Court.
Laetitia also assists clients from various industries negotiating contracts related to IP rights (e.g., JV, R&D, co-existence agreements) and advises on projects and corporate deals (acquisitions, carve-outs) where IP is a key asset.
Laetitia is a very active member of the Tech Sector and has extensive experience related to the games industry (notably publishing, merchandizing and ambassador agreements).
Experience
- Advising and representing a pharmaceutical company in infringement proceedings before the Unified Patent Court related to CAR-T cell therapy.
- Assisting and representing Intel against Intellectual Ventures before the Paris courts in a patent infringement action related to ADSL standards.
- Advising and representing Seoul Viosys before the Unified Patent Court in infringement and revocation proceedings concerning LED products.
- Assisting a company in the drafting and negotiation of a development collaboration and license agreement with both private and public entities in the healthcare sector (medical devices).
- Assisting a leading global consumer product company in drafting and negotiating multiple agreements in relation to an advertising campaign featuring a world-famous celebrity.
- Advising John Cockerill, a significant supplier of tank turrets for light armoured vehicles, firing systems, and simulation, on the intellectual property aspects in the context of exclusive negotiations with Volvo Group for the acquisition of Arquus, the principal French supplier of military vehicles.
- Advising Capgemini, a global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation, on the intellectual property aspects related to the acquisition of Cloud4C, a leader in hybrid cloud platform services.
