Overview

Lilianne is an associate in the corporate practice in Linklaters’ Amsterdam office. As a member of the Amsterdam Tech M&A team, she combines her experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions with a strong sector focus on technology, media and telecommunications as well as intellectual property. This dual focus enables her to provide integrated, sector-specific advice to clients on complex corporate transactions.

Experience

A selection of Lilianne’s recent experience includes advising:

On a NIS2 implementation project, including a risk assessment and gap analysis to identify any areas of potential non-compliance and formulating a mitigation strategy.
On a new investment from CPP Investments and Hg in team.blue, in a transaction worth €4.8bn. The investment supports team.blue’s growth strategy to provide online tools for business, with further AI-led product innovation.
On a GDPR compliance project, including with respect to Article 30 GDPR (ROPA) and the use of consent under the GDPR (including in the employment context).
On the acquisition of Weener Plastics Holdings B.V., a leading manufacturer of plastic packaging and dispensing solutions for cosmetics, household, food, and healthcare products, by Silgan Holdings Inc.
On the acquisition of all shares in Equans Energy Solutions B.V. operating the Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage business in the Netherlands in an competitive auction process from Equans Netherlands N.V.
On the acquisition, financing and carve-out of Vopak Rotterdam Botlek from Vopak Management Netherlands B.V., an indirect subsidiary of Koninklijke Vopak N.V.
On the successful all-cash public offer of €0.35 per share of RoodMicrotec N.V., a service company for clients in the semiconductor industry.

Recognition

Lilianne joined Linklaters in January 2023. In 2024, she undertook a one-year secondment to the Linklaters Brussels office, where she was part of the TMT/IP team.

She is dedicated to pro bono work and is part of the Amsterdam CSR Committee. As one of the two pro bono coordinators of the Amsterdam office, she actively leads and organises projects that bring about positive change.

Education, Qualifications and Languages

Lilianne has a master’s degree in corporate law (LL.M) from Leiden University as well as a master’s degree related to IP and TMT law (LL.M) from VU Amsterdam.

She speaks fluent Dutch and English and is a member of the Netherlands Bar (Nederlandse orde van advocaten) in Amsterdam.
