Overview
Mariana is a Corporate Law and M&A Associate in the Corporate Department of the Lisbon office and assists domestic and international corporate clients, investment funds and financial institutions in their complex corporate transactions. She advises on the structuring, negotiation and execution of domestic and cross‑border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and joint ventures, providing end‑to‑end transaction management across a wide range of sectors, such as renewable energy, food industry, tech, financial services and telecommunications. Her work ranges from typical share and asset deals to joint ventures and the structuring of corporate groups for investments and projects, providing advice on governance frameworks and shareholder arrangements.
Mariana has significant expertise in coordinating legal DD exercises and in drafting and negotiating a broad range of corporate transaction documents and ancillary agreements. In addition to her corporate work Mariana also has relevant experience in Corporate Finance She has experience in coordinating multidisciplinary and multijurisdictional teams in complex, multiparty transactions.
Mariana started her career in law in 2017 as a Trainee Lawyer at local law firm CS’ Associados, where she became an Associate, and was on secondment in the Madrid office of Allen & Overy in 2022. She joined Linklaters in 2026 in its Corporate Department.
