Simone specialises in intellectual property litigation, with a particular focus on national and cross-border patent litigation. She is experienced in enforcing intellectual property rights and defending clients against allegations of infringement. She represents clients before national courts and the Unified Patent Court (UPC). Her work covers the full lifecycle of a dispute – from the initial assessment of a litigation strategy through to proceedings before the court.
She is also active in trademark, copyright and unfair competition law and advises on transactions involving intellectual property.
Simone joined Linklaters as an Associate in 2022.
During her legal traineeship, she worked in the legal department of a global chemical and pharmaceutical company.
In November 2024, Simone was seconded to Linklaters’ office in Lisbon (Portugal).
She is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) and the Frankfurt Bar Association.
Simone studied law at the University of Frankfurt and the University of Trieste. She obtained her doctorate from the University of Göttingen.
Simone is a qualified German lawyer and a registered representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
She speaks German and English.
