Overview

Ty is an associate in Linklaters’ Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice in New York. He focuses on complex, cross-border commercial litigation and contentious regulatory matters.

Experience

• Investment fund: representing in a high-stakes partnership arbitration involving complex questions of internal restructuring, contractual interpretation, and partnership agreement provisions.

Beyond the Office

Ty maintains an active pro bono practice, including: 

• Legal Aid’s Law Summarization Project: summarizing civil rights lawsuits involving constitutional violations and police misconduct, including cases addressing unlawful stops and searches, excessive force, false arrests, and discriminatory profiling to support efforts to vindicate individuals' constitutional rights; and
• The New York Legal Assistance Group: representing an individual in a Housing Part Action against the New York City Housing Authority to compel necessary repairs and address serious habitability issues affecting a low-income tenant.
