Overview

Lauren is a counsel in the banking department of the Paris office. She advises on a wide range of financing transactions, including leveraged acquisition financings and public acquisition financings, as well as restructurings, investment grade syndicated facilities and bilateral loans. Lauren has experience advising lenders, sponsors and borrowers across multiple sectors and works on both domestic and cross-border deals. She also has extensive experience coordinating transactions across multiple jurisdictions.

Lauren has been based in the Paris office for over ten years, having previously spent one year in the London office.

Work highlights

Recent transactions include advising:

  • CGG on the restructuring of its indebtedness
  • a pool of lenders on the refinancing of credit facilities for the Pisto group
  • a global investment bank on the financing of Safran’s public offer for Zodiac Aerospace
  • an international investment bank on the financing made available for Gecina’s public offer for Foncière de Paris
  • ING as agent for the senior lenders and advisor to other senior lenders on the restructuring of the senior and mezzanine facilities of the HMY group

Education and qualifications

Lauren studied Jurisprudence at Christ Church, Oxford University, where she obtained her B.A. (Hons) degree.  She holds a postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.
