Mei is a partner in the Corporate and Structured Lending practice at Linklaters in London. With over 20 years of experience, she is known for advising on high-value, cross-border finance transactions and is a market-leading specialist in private capital and credit solutions.
Mei’s practice covers the full credit spectrum, with particular expertise in stressed and distressed situations, innovative bespoke financings, and complex restructurings. She acts for a diverse client base, representing institutional investors, corporate borrowers, private equity funds, issuers and hedge funds.
Before joining Linklaters, Mei was a partner and London co-chair at Paul Hastings.
Mei is listed as a 'Leading Partner’ for Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency in Legal 500’s UK 2025 rankings.

Recent examples of Mei’s transactions include advising*:
- Fund clients: advising on an investment in convertible notes issued by a sustainable food and smart-farming business operating climate-controlled food production facilities in the Middle East and the subsequent restructuring into a senior secured facility.
- Fund clients: advising on a strategic structured investment in subsidiaries of Eurohold Bulgaria AD to support Eurohold’s acquisition of the Bulgarian electricity distribution, supply and trading business of Czech energy group CEZ.
- A consortium of investors: advising on the provision of litigation financing relating to a portfolio of claims.
- A consortium of investors: advising on a structured investment in Soul Foods Group, a multinational quick-service restaurant franchisee operating Burger King, KFC, Starbucks and Taco Bell outlets.
- A consortium of lenders: advising on a preferred share financing for Apex Group Ltd., a leading fund administration and financial services provider, and on an equity investment in the group.
- A consortium of investors: advising on an investment in a Turkish pharmaceutical company, structured by way of a preference share investment.
