Nicholas is a Managing Associate based in our London office’s Energy & Infrastructure team and has been with the firm in London and Singapore for nine years. He has broad experience advising commercial lenders, export credit agencies, multilateral development banks, sponsors and financial investors on acquisition and project financings and commercial contracts in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Work highlights

Nicholas' most notable deals include advising:

  • the Sponsor team comprising Meridiam, Allianz Capital Partners and Kansai Electric Power on the financing of the NeuConnect interconnector between the UK and Germany
  • Equitix in connection with the acquisition of Aurora Infrastructure, the electricity distribution network in Finland
  • global wind and solar company, Mainstream Renewable Power, on its agreement with the renewable energy investment company Aker Horizons, which took a 75 per cent. equity stake in the company
  • the lenders in connection with the financing of the acquisition of HS1
  • the lenders on the multi-source, ECA-backed financing of the 299MW CfD-based biomass plant in Teesside, UK
