Linklaters advised Q Energy France on the sale of 73.2 MW of renewable energy projects to ERG

Linklaters advised Q Energy France, a major player in the European renewable energy market, on the sale of a 73.2 Megawatt (MW) portfolio of renewable energy projects in France to the Italian independent renewable energy producer, ERG.

This strategic sale underlines the commitment of Q Energy France to developing green energy solutions, while consolidating its position as a key player in the renewable energy sector.

The portfolio sold to ERG encompasses a wind farm in the final stages of commissioning, after a recent repowering, as well as three solar projects, one of which is linked to a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) signed with a major French distribution company.

The total annual estimated energy production of the portfolio is around 125 GWh, or the equivalent of 64 kilotons of CO2 emissions avoided.

The Linklaters team was led by François April, partner in charge of the renewable energy group, and Vera Maramzine, Counsel, and was composed of Chloe Fortin, associate, in Corporate/M&A, William Toutain, associate, and Thibaud Troublaïevitch, Managing associate in Energy and Infrastructure.
