Sustainability is on everyone’s lips at the moment, and sustainability-linked bonds are a hot topic now that market guidelines have been published, the ECB has confirmed that they constitute eligible collateral, and we have seen a few issuers come to market with these products.  As a Firm, we have been privileged to work on Enel’s recent sustainability-linked bonds starting with the deal that got everybody talking in October 2019, and more recently the first ever sterling sustainability-linked bond issued by Enel a few weeks ago.

In the interview, Nicole guides us on the sustainability path implemented by Enel and on how the market has reacted to this by describing the three major milestones that certify the success of their strategy.
