Linklaters advises Virya Energy on its acquisition of Sunopée from Léon Grosse.

Linklaters has advised Virya Energy, a prominent player in the energy transition sector, on its acquisition of the entire share capital and voting rights of Sunopée from Léon Grosse.

With the acquisition of 100% of Sunopée, Virya Energy significantly strengthens its presence in the French renewable energy market. The deal marks an important step in Virya Energy's strategy to accelerate the growth of rooftop photovoltaic systems for industrial and commercial buildings.

Founded in 2020 and one of the pioneers in the French solar commercial and industrial (C&I) market, Sunopée brings Virya Energy a robust portfolio of nearly 100 MWp of advanced-stage projects and over 300 MWp in development. The complementary expertise of Virya Energy and Sunopée will enable the offering of an expanded and comprehensive range of solutions to clients.
