Linklaters has advised Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) on the successful issuance of the second tranche of Women’s Livelihood Bond 7 (WLB7), bringing the total issuance across both tranches to US$92m. The bond is also stated to comply with EU and UK securitisation regulations.
The Linklaters team was led by partner and Head of South and Southeast Asia Capital Markets Amit Singh and capital markets partner Xunming Lim, supported by associate Alex Cui.
IIX’s pioneering Women’s Livelihood Bond series is designed to support women’s economic empowerment and environmental sustainability across South and Southeast Asia. The Linklaters team also advised on the first tranche of WLB7 issuance of US$52.8m in 2025.
