Overview
Bobby is a finance lawyer with market leading expertise in prudential regulation, including regulatory capital, bank recovery and resolution and ring-fencing. He deploys this combination of transactional and advisory skills to help leading financial institutions, sponsors and corporates execute some of their most high-value deals and solve some of their most complex financial problems. He has also acted on a number of high profile fund finance transactions, including PE and credit NAV and capital call financings.
Bobby has been recognised for innovation in the provision of legal services and created LinkRFI, Linklaters’ FT Innovative Lawyers award winning software which helps banks to automate ring-fencing due diligence.

- a major international banking group on a multi-billion dollar portfolio disposal of loans and swaps to another major international banking group.
- several international banks and Fintechs on regulatory capital matters.
- SoftBank Vision Fund on several of its financing arrangements.
- the arrangers on a €1.25 billion NAV financing for a top tier sponsor.
- Revolut on its successful UK bank licence application.
- Metro Bank in relation to the regulatory capital aspects of its £325m capital raise and £600m debt refinancing.
- a bidder in relation to the regulatory capital aspects of its proposed acquisition of Silicon Valley Bank (UK) Limited.
