Ros is a specialist in commercial dispute resolution, with a particular focus on crisis management, investigations and contentious regulatory disputes, as well as fighting and settling litigation.

Experience includes:

  • providing legal and strategic support to a range of clients responding to unexpected, high profile and business critical crises – this experience spans a range of sectors and issues from financial services to construction to product liability, and includes conducting forensic investigations, engaging with regulators and key stakeholders, advising on related litigation and insurance issues  
  • advising a major bank on FX issues, including a complex and multi-jurisdictional internal investigation and a high profile enforcement action by the FCA
  • advising a major bank on an FCA investigation into its handling of PPI complaints
  • advising a UK commercial insurance broker in connection with an FCA investigation into risk management systems and controls for countering risks of bribery and corruption associated with making payments to overseas third parties
  • advising an international private investment firm in connection with an internal investigation and regulatory and parliamentary inquiries into allegations of potential bribery and corruption
  • advising an international private equity group defending litigation proceedings in connection with the acquisition of English law-governed debt alleged to have been in breach of a confidentiality agreement and anti-circumvention clause
  • advising a high profile corporate in respect of a multi-jurisdictional shareholder dispute in relation to the ownership of prestige hotels in London
  • advising a major bank in its defence of litigation involving allegations of wilful breach of trust
