Linklaters advises WMR JV Investco Limited on the refinancing of Westermost Rough offshore wind farm

Linklaters has advised WMR JV Investco Limited on the refinancing of its existing indebtedness relating to its 50 per cent interest in the Westermost Rough offshore wind farm. Linklaters acted as legal advisor to the sponsors (including Equitix and Arjun Infrastructure Partners).

Westermost Rough is an offshore wind farm located in the North Sea off the coast of Yorkshire with a generating capacity of 210 MW. The transaction supports the continued development and operation of UK offshore wind infrastructure and underlines investor appetite for renewable energy assets.

The Linklaters team was led by partner Richard Ginks, managing associate Arani Chakrabaty and managing associate Chathurika Ravindra. The SFG team also advised on the hedging aspects of the transaction and was led by partner Elisabeth Johnson, with managing associate Rohan Dhariwal and associate Justyna Todd-Frankowska.
