Linklaters has advised Allianz Direct, a subsidiary of the German group Allianz specialising in online insurance, on the acquisition of Eurofil’s insurance portfolio, brand and operational assets from Abeille IARD & Santé.
This acquisition will position Allianz Direct as the third largest player in the French direct insurance market.
Linklaters’ multidisciplinary team was led by Hubert Segain, Corporate/M&A Partner, and supported by Louis Prades, Counsel, Espérance Ait Bachir, Managing Associate and Bibi Gbaya and Andréa Midy, Junior Associates, in Corporate/M&A.
