Linklaters elects François Kopf as partner in Paris and Global Chair of Restructuring and Insolvency

Also joining Linklaters is Mathieu Della Vittoria, who has been elected as a partner in Linklaters’ global Restructuring and Insolvency practice.

Linklaters has appointed market-leading restructuring and insolvency specialist, François Kopf, as its Global Chair of Restructuring and Insolvency. Also joining Linklaters is Mathieu Della Vittoria, who has been elected as a partner in Linklaters’ Paris office. They will be accompanied by a team of six, including two counsel and four associates, further strengthening the firm’s global Restructuring and Insolvency practice.

François has acted in many of the most high-profile restructurings and insolvencies in France in recent years. He is ranked one of the best restructuring specialists in the market, specialising in complex matters that require restructuring, transactional and litigation expertise.

On his end, Mathieu has developed a strong practice on distressed litigation and is known for his work on high-profile cases. He is ranked by Legal 500 as a “Next generation partner” in Insolvency.

François, Mathieu and their team join Linklaters from Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier.

The latest hires continue the firm’s expansion of its global Restructuring and Insolvency practice, having recently added Michael H. Torkin in New York and Riaz Janjuah in Hamburg.
