Overview

Charlotte is an associate in the Energy and Infrastructure practice of Linklaters in Paris. Charlotte advises French, EU and international lenders and sponsors on a wide range of complex project and export finance transactions in France, Europe and emerging markets (Africa mainly) in particular in renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.

Work highlights

Prior to joining Linklaters, recent transactions of significance where substantial involvement can be disclosed have included:

Akuo Energy: advising on a portfolio project financing for the construction and developments of solar plants based in Portugal.
The Lenders: advising on the implementation of a development facility in the form of a revolving credit facility to the benefit of a subsidiary of Neoen in relation to wind and solar projects located in France.
Engie: advising on the sale of Equans (on the financing aspects during prior audit phase and subsequent agreements executed within the context of the sale).
Amarenco: advising on a long-term credit facility granted to a dedicated holding company by French financial institutions refinancing 37 SPVs owning solar farms based in France.
The Lenders: advising on financings granted to TSE at intermediate holding companies level aiming at (i) leveraging funds for a portfolio of early-stage photovoltaic and agrivoltaics assets located in France and at (ii) implementing a non-revolving facility and guarantee facility prefinancing development and construction costs of 40 photovoltaïc plants of 1.6GW installed capacity.
The Lenders: advising on a corporate revolving facility of €320m made available to a listed company with ESG criteria and LMA referenced rates mechanics.
Tenergie and the lenders: advising on the negotiation of a financing granted to a dedicated holding company including the acquisition of an SPVs portfolio which own more than 270 assets under construction and operation in France, and the financing and refinancing of such portfolio.
The lenders: advising on a project financing to the benefit of a dedicated subsidiary of Voltalia relating to the construction and operation of a biomass plant (5,1Mwe), located in French Guiana.
