Overview

Jack is Counsel within the firm and has a broad corporate and commercial real estate practice, including development projects, real estate M&A, and financings in Europe and the Middle East. He has particular experience advising on data centre and digital infrastructure transactions, including lease negotiations, stabilised portfolio carveouts, and data centre developments.

Experience

DigitalBridge on the acquisition of Yondr Group, a global developer, owner and operator of hyperscale data centres, through one of its managed investment funds.
Digital Bridge and Vantage Data Centers: advising on:
- €2.5bn Investment Partnership with a consortium of investors led by MEAG and Infranity along with funds affiliated with the investment management platform of DigitalBridge Group, Inc.
- AustralianSuper’s €1.5bn investment in Vantage's EMEA platform for a significant minority stake.
- Silver Lake and DigitalBridge’s US$9.2bn equity investment in Vantage across North America and EMEA.
Aware Super: advising on a £1bn joint venture with Delancey to set up UK REIT to invest in offices.
City Developments Limited (CDL): advising on the £395m purchase of the 23-acre mixed-use scheme and marina at St Katharine Docks from funds advised by Blackstone.
Lendlease: advising on development schemes at Silvertown Quays, Elephant & Castle and Birmingham Smithfield.
PIF and subsidiary companies on various real estate development, investment and operations matters in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi institution: advising on several largescale mixed-use development schemes.
Brookfield: advising on real estate aspects of a UAE logistics JV platform.
Gamuda Berhad: advising the Malaysian property company on the joint acquisition of the 317,000 sq ft Winchester House, London for £257m.
AustralianSuper: advising on their acquisition of a 50% stake in the 53-acre Canada Water, London mixed-use regeneration project from British Land and the ongoing management arrangements.

BlackRock: Advising on a joint venture to acquire, develop and manage data centres in the UK and Europe and the acquisition by the JV of an initial data centre asset.
Arada, a UAE-based developer: advising on its acquisition of a 75% stake in Regal, one of London’s leading residential-led mixed-use developers.
Data4: advising the lenders on the €3.175bn financing of Brookfield’s acquisition of European data centre operator Data4.
Canada Pension Plan Investment Board: advising on its agreement with Goodman Group to establish an €8bn European data centre partnership to develop hyperscale data centre campuses in Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Paris.

Jack holds a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.
