Jonathan is notably involved in transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity, investment funds structuring, project finance and structured finance.

Work highlights

Recent transactions handled by Jonathan include amongst others:

  • Apax Partners SA on its sale to Cinven of 100% of the securities of the holding company of the INSEEC U. group, a group of management and business schools located in France, Europe, the USA and China;
  • Ardian on the fund raising of its eighth generation of secondary fund of funds;
  • Sonnedix in connection with its acquisition of Aloe Energy, a successful Solar PV developer and operator with 67MW in operation as well as a pipeline of projects under development and construction;
  • Cerberus on its acquisition of GE's c. EUR 5bn French banking and consumer finance business, GE Money Bank, and its operations in the French Overseas Territories;
  • Ardian on the €4 billion fundraising of its sixth generation of Mid Cap Buyout fund, Ardian LBO Fund VI, with an additional €500 million raised for co-investment opportunities.

Jonathan has been involved in the course of the last years in the mentoring program of awarded students at the International University Campus of Paris (Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris)

Education and qualifications

Jonathan holds a Master 2 in Corporate Tax from the University Paris Dauphine and a Master 2 in International Tax Law from the University Panthéon Assas Paris 2.

He is admitted at the Paris Bar.
