Overview
Laura is a Managing Associate in the Real Estate practice group in Brussels, advising both local and international clients on all aspects of commercial real estate in Belgium. She has wide experience in (asset and corporate/M&A) real estate transactions, structuring real estate development projects, construction law, sale-and-leaseback operations, and negotiating complex lease and other occupation agreements Laura also brings valuable experience in public and administrative law, allowing her to support clients at every stage of real estate projects. In addition, she has a strong interest in sustainability issues affecting the real estate sector and regularly advises on related legal and regulatory matters.
She deepens her market insights through her board position at Young UPSI, the youth division of the Professional Association for the Real Estate sector (UPSI-BVS), actively engaging with emerging trends and industry stakeholders. Recently, Laura expanded her expertise working for an offshore wind developer abroad, gaining in-depth industry knowledge and practical experience in renewable energy infrastructure.

Laura has advised on a wide range of real estate transactions and public law matters. These include advising:
- Cityforward S.Comm: advising a Belgian fund (SFPIM, Ethias, Whitewood) on Project Schuman, a landmark M&A transaction involving the €900m acquisition of 23 properties in central Brussels from the European Commission
- Interparking: advising Interparking and its main shareholders on its acquisition of substantially all shares of Saba Infraestructuras, from Criteria Caixa, which, in turn, will contribute part of the consideration to the share capital of Interparking
- John Cockerill with the constitution of Rely, a joint venture with Technip Energies active as provider of integrated and competitive green hydrogen solutions.
- Wind4Wallonia SA, as borrower on the project finance of 5 wind parks located in Wallonia
- Cofinimmo on the contribution of Cofinimmo’s branch of activities encompassing all its office assets.
- Intermarché on the acquisition of a Belgian retail group, owning more than 80 supermarkets.
- A family with the sale of the SA Metropole, owner of the Metropole hotel, a five star hotel located in Brussels.
