Overview
Marilena is an Associate in the Antitrust and Foreign Investment practice, based in Brussels.
Marilena advises on all aspects of European and international competition law, including merger control, abuse of dominance, cartels and anticompetitive practices, as well as foreign investment. Her experience covers a broad range of business sectors, including telecommunications, technology, media, life sciences, and industrials.
Marilena joined Linklaters in 2024. Marilena worked as an associate at other international law firms based in Brussels.

- Vodafone Group and Telenor Group: advising on their strategic global procurement partnership.
- Bharti Airtel: advising on the acquisition of a 24.5% stake in BT Group.
- Macquarie Asset Management: advising on the merger control and FSR aspects of the £700m recommended final cash offer for Renewi Plc by Macquarie and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation.
- Novo Holdings: advising on its $16.5 billion acquisition of Catalent.
- Novo Holdings: advising on its investment in Biocomposites.
- Johnson & Johnson: advising on ex-US merger control and FDI aspects of its US$13.1bn acquisition of Shockwave Medical.
