Overview
Nicholas is a Managing Associate in our London office’s Energy & Infrastructure team. He has been with the firm for more than a decade and he has broad experience advising on complex, cross-border, ECA-backed projects. In recent years, he has been primarily focused on LNG, petrochemicals and sustainable fuels projects in emerging markets, working closely with clients in Europe, Africa and Asia.
Experience
His experience includes advising:
- Eni and the Area 4 partners on all aspects of the development and financing of the Coral North FLNG project in Mozambique
- the ECAs and lenders on the multi-source ECA-backed greenfield project financing of the Amiral petrochemicals project in Saudi Arabia
- Meridiam, Allianz Capital Partners and Kansai Electric Power as sponsors on the financing of the NeuConnect interconnector between the UK and Germany
- the ECAs and lenders on the multi-sourced project financing of the Arctic 2 LNG project in Russia
- the ECAs and commercial banks on the proposed project financing o the SOCAR GPC petrochemical project in Azerbaijan
- a group of development financial institutions on the project financing of the Khi Solar One CSP project in South Africa
- the lenders on the multi-source, ECA-backed financing of a 299MW CfD-based biomass project in Teesside, UK
