Overview
Nina is an associate in Linklaters’ Düsseldorf Antitrust & Foreign Investment Group. She has diverse expertise in all fields of antitrust law with a focus on investigations, compliance advise and merger control both at EU level and in Germany, including on vertical and abuse of dominance questions. Based on her experience in several complex matters, Nina is very familiar with the structures of both the Federal Cartel Office in Germany and the European Commission.
Nina has profound experience in the automotive industry, digital economy, technology, energy, private equity, industrials, real estate and healthcare.
Experience
- Volkswagen AG and Dr Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG: Advice in connection with the IPO of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG and the sale of a minority interest in Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG to Porsche Automobil Holding SE.
- Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG: advising in cartel proceedings before the European Commission concerning alleged anticompetitive conduct in relation to emission technologies; • McKesson: advising on the sale of its pharmaceutical wholesale and pharmacy business in several European jurisdictions to PHOENIX Pharmahandel GmbH & Co KG.
- COSCO Shipping Ports: advising on the strategic acquisition of a minority stake (35%) in HHLA Container Terminal Tollerort GmbH in the Port of Hamburg.
- A leading car manufacturer: Advising on ongoing antitrust matters, in particular on vertical issues, antitrust compliance and various co-operations.
- A multinational e-commerce business and online retailer of shoes, fashion and beauty products: Advising on various issues in connection with the reform efforts in Germany and Europe regarding the digital industry and compliance related matters.
- Beiersdorf: advising on general competition law issues, including questions on selective distribution.
Beyond the Office
Nina joined Linklaters as an associate in 2021. Previously, she worked for the firm in different functions, first as a trainee lawyer and later as a Legal Assistant. She is a member of Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht (Study Association Competition/Antitrust Law) and the Forum Investitionsprüfung (Forum Foreign Investment Control). Nina was on secondment to Zalando SE between November 2023 and April 2024.
She has also previously been partly seconded to tesa SE for several months.
